Can I take action shots with the camera Canon EOS Rebel K2?

Friday Jun 27, 2008

I was wondering if with the camera Canon EOS Rebel K2 I would be able to take action shots?
… I need an answer ASAP
Thx :]

A shutter speed above 1/500 will get you action shots that stop action. 1/1000. is better and 1/2000 will give you photos on an autowinder or continuous shooting that will look like Time Lapse photography. A lot of what you need to ask is what effect are you looking for in the picture. Less than 1/500 is like to make a baseball a white blur. The Canon Rebel line will give you should give you an adequate range to do what you want to do. Your camera may already be programmed for sports/action which will do the thing you are asking for. Commonly on full automatic, there are icons to guide. A face means portrait. A Flower means macro/close up photography Mountains symbolize wide angle/telephoto. An icon showing motion/speed is stop action photo.

Where can I buy the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT?

Tuesday Jun 3, 2008

I like the Canon EOS 350d until I found out that the 350d and the Digital Rebel XT are both the same except the Digital Rebel XT is sold in North America. Where can I get the Canon Eos Digital Rebel XT? I can’t find it at circuit city, best buy, etc. So are there any other stores I can buy it at?

You are a few years behind the times.

The XT was first produced in February 2005, since then the XTi, XSi and XS have been released. You may be able to find one used on craigslist in good shape
