i own a canon rebel xt (SLR) and i wanna know how i can shutter speed so low tht it would tak upto 45-60mins to tak a pic .. plz help ….

you need to have a shutter release cable and a stable tripod and set your shutter speed to "bulb"(Bulb- you can open the shutter as long as you like)

but, 45 mins of open shutter ?? doesn't seems so rational to me. your picture will turn washed out even if you have the biggest f number and lowest ISO at a very dark place.
