Used my Canon Digital Rebel XT and 17-40 F/4L to make a time lapse of me pulling the engine out of my car. A TI-89 graphing calculator is acting as an intervalometer using a data cable and a small piece of code. Apologies for the abrubt ending. The camera ran out of batteries. I guess 3000+ exposures on a single charge will do that.
Some stats/info:
Set to 1 exposure every 3 seconds. 3124 exposures, played back at 15fps
Camera in manual mode: 0.5sec shutter, 17mm, F/6.3, ISO100
Even though, mathematically, this should only be about 3 hours of real time, the video represents about 5 hours of elapsed time. The timer function on the calculator didn’t like running continuously for that long.
