i’m looking forward to buy a camera.
out of these two,which is a better camera :-

Neither they are both very good entry level DSLR’s. Go to a store and play around with them. Choose the one that feels best in your hands and has the features you want.
They are basically the same. The only real difference is that the Canon has live view and auto exposure bracketing. The Nikon does not. References :

These two cameras are very similar just different brand names. If like the nikons better then try to get the D90. You will be able to record video. Thats always cool. Also you can find great deals on used equiptment at places like adorama.com and bhphotovideo.com B&H has student discounts on many things so if you decide to buy there and you are a student sign up for the student pricing.
Make sure to do plenty of research before you buy. Right now the old canon 5D for $1000-$1500. This is a great deal on a "full frame" camera. Canon Rebel XSi come with slightly better features.12.2MP,faster 3.5 fps continuous shooting and live view function.
